This adaptive re-use project took the vision, creativity and expertise of Evo Development, Inc. The Property included an 18,000 s.f. Industrial/Office Building and a Gas Station, which were both badly in need of rehabilitation. Evo Development, Inc was able to acquire both parcels. The Property was then combined to one parcel and demolition of the gas station and a portion of the office/industrial building created a new 9,325 s.f retail building. Giving new life to an existing building was challenging and time consuming. However, with the help of a public/private partnership, TIF, a new CSM, and a Planned Unit Development (PUD) zoning overlay the new building has new life. The building will house Noodles & Company, Mattress Firm and additional retailers. The project was completed in early 2016.
